Comment (by apedog):

 Perhaps the metabox being moved should have a color change and then fade
 out. Much like post meta / custom fields box changes to yellow and then
 fades back to white on update (pink on delete).
 This seems less of a problem in the keyboard navigation gif - where the
 moved metabox keeps the blue focus outline.
 But the mouse-click version where the metabox moves instantly while the
 mouse pointer stays fixed might be confusing.
