 Everything @rogerlos said. There are much more serious and bigger fish to
 fry with how images are handled than this. Like maybe removing the
 hardcoded HTML for embedded images and using a shortcode instead, like the
 gallery does. This way, when WP determines, a given specific image can be
 deleted without potentially causing an image 404 because that specific
 image was hardcoded into content somewhere.
