 While I read on comment:50 that "All text combos pass AA contrast", I
 don't see a sufficient color contrast for various elements in what's is
 currently committed on trunk. Specifically, these elements don't have a
 minimum 4.5:1 contrast:

 - "Speed. Search. Security." at the top
 - the 4 links in the header: What’s New | Credits | Freedoms | Privacy
 - the red link "WordPress 5.5 Field Guide." on gray background at the
 bottom of the page
 - the red link issue applies also to all the other red links in the other
 pages: Credits | Freedoms | Privacy

 Regarding the copy in the "Accessibility section":
 > and edit images in WordPress with your assistive device, as it can read
 you the instructions in the image editor.

 I'm not sure this part is appropriate. There are no "instructions" being
 announced by screen readers. Instead, it's the admin notices that appear
 after a user action that are now announced. E.g. "Image saved" and the
 like. Those aren't "instructions". It's feedback about the success or
 failure of a user action.
