 {{{22363.4.diff}}} is more than enough for most cases. It uses the san
 function that convert a post title into a slug.

 It doesn't address every single use case, but it is a huge step forward
 and it is a completely safe fix.

 I propose to include this patch in WP 5.5, close the ticket and create a
 new one to study if it is possible to address special cases.
