Comment:

 @TimothyBlynJacobs My fault, and I agree with you that
 `wp_set_object_terms()` shouldn't assign the default taxonomy term so I
 moved related code into `wp_insert_post()`.

 PS: I discovered a strange/different behavior between different editors
 API described in #50648
