Comment (by joyously):

 Having the uploaded zip in the Media Library doesn't really make sense. It
 isn't mentioned to the user.
 If I cancel or click away from the screen, the zip remains in the library.
 I can't use it from there, though.
 If I successfully replace a plugin, neither one is saved in the Media
 Library. The plugin I've used in the past for this would save the one
 being replaced, which seems more useful.
