Comment:

 Since [attachment:"47411.2.diff"] didn't get enough consensus, let's close
 this as fixed in [45455] and [46612].

 As noted in comment:21, excluding the `Generic.Files.LineEndings` sniff in
 a local `phpcs.xml` file appears to be the only viable option for
 WordPress development on Windows for now.
