 Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the ticket.

 Could you share a use case for this filter?

 Just noting that `wp_dropdown_users_args` filter was introduced in [34692]
 / #19867.

 At a glance, it would probably make sense to do the same for
 `wp_dropdown_categories()` and `wp_dropdown_pages()`.

 Maybe for `wp_dropdown_languages()` too, but it's mostly used in the
 admin, so I guess I'd skip it for now, unless there's an actual use case
 for a filter there.
