 Thinking this ticket over, I wonder if we should add an api to register
 theme supports.

 This would define the key name, description, show in rest etc. That would
 allow third party developers to also register their own supports. It would
 also mean that this definitions could be reused elsewhere. Thoughts
 @TimothyBlynJacobs ?
