 @maxms Thanks and welcome to Trac!

 That's an interesting idea: allowing a site developer to leave notes there
 for other and/or future developers of that site.

 If we add a column, I think the notes would need to be saved as meta in
 the database ("active_plugins" data?). There might be another way, too, by
 adding notes to one of the existing columns.

 I'm leaving the ui-feedback keyword for further investigation and
 discussion.
