 Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the ticket.

 Just noting that this was previously suggested in #12108. In general,
 deleting attachments along with the post is not feasible, as they can be
 used in other posts without being directly attached to them.

 There's a code snippet in comment:1:ticket:12108 if you'd like to
 implement this on your site.
