 Seems like an unreported bug in the upstream SimplePie package, see
 https://github.com/simplepie/simplepie/blob/1c68e14ca3ac84346b6e6fe3c5eedf725d0f92c6/library/SimplePie.php#L2583-L2585
 for the same code in the upstream package.
