 On second thoughts it's just when an image appears between two paras which
 haven't been formatted with spaces. So although it appears visually fine,
 it removes spaces in search results and would also remove in embed which
 also removes the image.

 I've used the classic editor plugin on a fresh install, but historic posts
 have been made using the classic editor and search results would return
 results made in the classic editor too.
