 Hallo,

 I'm really sorry that you are having issues with your website.
 There were some big changes in 5.5. so it is quite possible that it is a
 plugin or a theme conflict.
 Trac is specifically for reporting issues with WordPress Core, so
 unfortunately no one here can help you, unless it is a reproducible bug in
 Core.
 However, the awesome volunteers over at the forums should be able to help
 you with this:

 It sounds like a plugin or theme conflict and they are great at helping to
 troubleshoot those.
