 I started a plugin https://github.com/Ayesh/WordPress-oEmbed-Facebook-
 Instagram (WIP) to bring these sites back with the new API. The plugin
 will need to expose a new option to enter Instagram/Facebook App access
 keys, after which the plugin can complement the embeds with authenticated
 oEmbed requests.
