 @ryelle sorry, I missed that there were outstanding changes in a PR. Can
 we make these changes to the developer section and then commit everything
 that's there at once?

 - Change `New filters let custom post types associated with the category
 taxonomy have a default term beyond “Uncategorized”.` to `Custom post
 types associated with the category taxonomy can now opt-in to supporting
 the default term."
 - Below that point, add "Default terms can now be specified for custom
 taxonomies in `register_taxonomy()`."
 - Add "The REST API now officially supports specifying a default metadata
 values through `register_meta()`." above the last bullet point.
