 First of all, every major framework is dropping jQuery in favor of vanilla
 JS

 List is endless

 If jQuery is "mandatory", it should be moved as an sectionnable option,
 like a drop down where you can select the desired version.

 @remzicavdar had an interesting approach with his plugin you can take
 inspiration from.
