 The noted Yoast plugin support forum is full of similar reports these
 days, yet my conclusion (as explained how tested and why) is that it's
 probably related to WordPress itself, not any particular theme, or plugin.

 I value everyone's time and if you think it's more productive, I could
 make a discussion digest and post it here as well, even though there
 aren't too many replies and it's not too long - just let me know. But that
 would mean the replies that aren't mine will be reported the way I
 understood them, not the way they were written (I prefer to see first hand
 source when it comes to solving tech. problems).
