 @melchoyce thanks for sharing feedback. A few, quick, considerations:

 1. Right now, the title is already the menu toggle: this is exactly what
 needs to be changed :) There's the need for a UI control (a button) that
 communicates _what_ it does, e.g.: "(choose) media types". Instead, in the
 current UI and in the mockup #1 it would communicate the currently
 selected item.
 2. The second mockup is better for accessibility except for the order. As
 outlined previously, visual order and source order must match. We need
 this order:
   - Title
   - Menu toggle
   - The menu itself
