Comment:

 I agree with the above. Removing pointer cursors from clickable non-link
 elements seems to go against the spirit of the guideline, even if it
 adheres to its exact wording.

 As noted above, the more fundamental fix is to ensure that links and
 buttons are correctly used depending on the action being performed, rather
 than removing the cursor pointer from non-links.
