 Hi all - read through this ticket and the linked slack logs. @swissspidy
 has had some version of a patch available for a year and then regrettably,
 it's been punt, punt, punt until now. Based on the lack of references, I'm
 concerned it's not even on the radar.

 @kadamwhite It sounds like you've done work on this, is it possible to
 share a status publicly so people can help or comment on the
 direction/progress?

 Our users are actively complaining when they see this error message
 because they think we broke something.
