 Swapping the featured image for a different image in the gallery would be
 a great feature.

 Here's a use case.

 I've just imported 1000 posts. Originally, they were parent/child based,
 but with this import, I wanted to just have single posts.

 Now, each of the previous child posts has a specific image, but the single
 posts now, they have a featured image and a gallery.

 5 of each post now has the same image, because the import didn't know the
 relationship from image to child post.

 Ideal process:

 - Hover over gallery image
 - Select 'Make featured image'

 Current process:

 - Remove the current featured image
 - Search the gallery for the correct image by knowing exact name, or
 scrolling through all media


 ---

 If making a 'make this image featured' isn't the right direction, then
 make the media contextual? Show the images in the gallery or associated
 with the post show up first in media uploader, maybe highlighted to
 suggest that they are in use.

 This way, you can hotswap the images without the torture of hunting for an
 image in a haystack
