Comment:

 It works perfectly fine in my testing. I checked with the latest changes
 to `trunk` and it works nicely with my previous commit.

 I can confirm that changes added in the latest release of Gutenberg plugin
 which were cherry-picked are fixed in this patch. I tested:
 - previews in the inserter
 - my own fix for the mobile view on initial visit
