Comment (by apedog):
+1 for (at the very least) having the ability to move all template files
to a dedicated templates folder.
> Being able to move the templates opens up a whole new world for
developers.
I'm annoyed to no end with having template files littering my root folder.
OCD i never knew I had just kicks in whenever I see my template files
interspersed with {{{style.css}}} and {{{functions.php}}}.
Is there further discussion necessary (ticket is tagged 2nd-opinion)? Or
can this ticket get the go ahead? I would greatly appreciate having this
functionality and as I see it, this will in no way adversely effects
anyone not wishing to use this.
I think this ticket should get some love alongside
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/17512 and #48175 or #43597
