 OK - speaking of cache!
 For me. I had to go into the error and delete from my CDN cache, the file
 that was throwing the error. This took almost an entire day of digging. In
 this case it was this JS include file.

 /wp-includes/js/backbone.min.js

 For some reason it was cached in CDN - I purged it, and for some reason
 it's OK now. Maybe this will help.
