Comment:

 Worth noting there's now #48420 that aims to standardize heights and
 alignments of all form controls. Even though this ticket was created
 before, I'd lean towards closing it and move the conversation to #48420 if
 no objections. On #48420 there's a broader approach aiming to adjust all
 the pending cases.
