 We are having exactly the same issue except with some of our posts, we end
 up with endless redirects, possibly because of some custom code. But the
 root cause is the original link ends up a 404 now instead.

 So this definitely has to do with time zones, right? That would explain
 why only some posts are suffering from this issue.
