 @efilippucci I don't think that it will make the 5.3.1 release. That is
 slated for 11/12, which is only 3 days away. I'm guessing things are in a
 freeze for testing right now before that release, and (if the patch is
 accepted) it will make it into the next security release (5.3.1).
