 Viewing the source-code of your site, I see you are using the Jetpack Site
 Accelerator/Photon CDN to serve your images. As noted in the
 [https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/ limitations section of the
 Site Accelerator information page] it is not possible to invalidate images
 on the CDN without renaming the file.

 Jetpack is a service of WordPress.com unrelated to the self hosted version
 provided at WordPress.org. Please contact [https://wordpress.com/support
 WordPress.com's support team] if you have further questions.

 I've closed this ticket as `invalid`, which in this case is trac's
 slightly unfriendly term to indicate I've referred you to a plugin author.
