 @jacobsidelnikov I appreciate your need for this widget, however as I
 stated before, this is a customized use-case and while it's certainly
 valid for your needs,  it's not something that has a wide enough need to
 warrant a new widget that ships with WordPress core.

 In addition, one of the 9 priorities for 2019 (
 https://make.wordpress.org/core/2018/12/08/9-priorities-for-2019/ ) is to
 move the existing Widgets into blocks and revamp the widgets experience
 using Gutenberg. Given that direction, introducing a new widget is not
 something that makes sense at this point.
