 Hi @mtvary,

 Welcome to Trac! My apologies that it took so long for you to receive a
 response.

 The new block editor actually turns the `ö` character into a regular `o`.
 The quick edit interface also performs the same sanitization. However, if
 I manually insert an `ö` character into the post slug in the database, I
 am able to reproduce the redirect.
