 I work for a large corporation that is currently switching our internal
 sites to WordPress. We have offices all around the world, and a local
 timezone setting is something I've been trying to code myself. This
 feature would be life changing, and really help sell WordPress as a
 suitable CMS for internal (and perhaps external) websites.

 For now I'll continue to rely on my custom function, but I'm looking
 forward to this being adopted as an official feature.
