 The hyperlink that comes on the Settings Permalink screen, for making your
 .htaccess file writable the word ''**writable**'': links to
 https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
 Which I think isn’t one of the best possible resources, the page actually
 then redirects the user effectively to
 https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-file-permissions/#htaccess-
 permissions

Why not directly link to the support article instead of the
 codex?

 If rewriting the whole things on codex is the better way to go; please
 suggest.
