 Thanks @dejliglama for the suggestion.

 I'm going to close this as `maybelater` as it sounds more appropriate to
 be implemented as a plugin rather than core. In core, the erasure tool
 should be as simplistic as possible. As well users who've requested their
 data and see specific items they want to be erased over the entirety of
 their data can either login to remove those items from their profile or
 request specific erasure from the admin.
