Comment:

 Realistically, this ticket can't be addressed in 5.1 coming in February.
 It still needs consensus on the proposed design changes. While the
 previous explorations were almost there, the patch needs a substantial
 refresh. I'd also consider to make the admin menu a bit larger, as there's
 no reason why it should be only 160 pixels wide. Moving to Future Release.
