 All Rarst said was "Can we please add machine-parsable information for
 things we already know?". Is this really such a big deal, and a subject
 for endless debate? Several packages already exist to remedy this problem,
 but of course they don't really need to exist, because it's not a real
 problem.

 I know I may be asking for too much, but can somebody explain why this
 file should not be added at this time?
