 Yes. As @lkraav says, it would be useful if the dropdown also appended
 `(Private)`

 Yes. Why not? The most obvious use case is when you want to work on a
 batch of pages for future publication. Currently, you can't properly test
 those pages.

 the parent Page status?
 No. It adds unnecessary complexity. Let's just get the pages in the
 dropdown first.

 > And if a parent Page is Published and then changed to draft or private,
 what happens to the child?
 No, as there's no inheritance. See above.
