 Hello,

 If you have 500+ Text Widgets –which is huge!– I'd say your best bet is to
 handle that with a custom post type and to add them dynamically to your
 Widget areas. I'm closing the ticket as `wontfix` for now but feel free to
 reopen it if needed. I believe that the issue does not depends on
 WordPress Core but mostly on your website architecture.
