 This is not only related to email. In comment:92 @kitchin noted that there
 are 12 files referencing SERVER_NAME. One of the references is in v5.2.2
 [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/5.2.2/src/wp-includes/rest-
 api.php#L378 rest-api.php], which is throwing errors over nginx.

 I'm not sure how I fell into that code segment yet. I'm not running SSL
 yet on this new site. But in diagnosing the issue I found this ticket.
