 Hi @desrosj ,

 Maybe my bad English has hurt understanding, but the point was that the
 status select that appears in quick edit mode does not work the same way
 as the select status that appears when we're editing a post normally.

 Anyway I believe that your answer is still valid, you can keep the ticket
 closed due to the new implementations in this area.
