G here. Today we woke up in a hostel that smelled slightly like when you
haven't drank water all night and your urine is bright yellow. That odor,
like ammonia in chemistry lab, you know? Of course you do. It is day 14,
money is scarce, the locals are fired up, and the coffee is weak. After 14
days I can sum this country up in 4 words, you do not sleep. Snot rockets
are launched like nukes in North Korea, my legs hurt, my head aches, and
the last real meal i had was made by French guy who belongs in an asylum.
Howdy. This is d and i am so fired up after last night. Let me tell you
my tale of woe concerning what happened not 12 hours ago. After finding
said piss ridden hostel, g, my women and i took to the town in search of
beer that needed drinking and music that has no right being listened to.
Whilst on this hunt, we proceeded to spend more money than we had in a
mediocre pub with some absolute strangers. Fun? Right? Wrong. Not 3
hours in I thought g was dead in a bathroom and i was ready to vomit not
only on myself but also anyone who cared to get close enough to my sweaty
little body. However, we managed to muster some sort of resurrection and
we made it out of the bar only to run into a coke fiend and his
outrageously "outgoing" brother. Both men were unfortunately far bigger
than i was and could have (and debatably tried to) take me home with them
with or without my consent. That being said, g was brave enough to step
in and introduce the topic of gyspy hunting into the equation, thus taking
the attention away from me. Push came to shove, one thing lead to
another, we stumbled away with our lives and managed our way back. After
getting home we set our alarms for 8 am so we could be blessed with the
morning toast that our hostel offered. This is our tale of woe. Learn
from us.
xoxo d and g
