 Given the [https://make.wordpress.org/core/2018/10/31/wordpress-5-0
 -schedule-updates/ timeline for shipping 5.0], it's unlikely this
 particular enhancement will make it for this release. We can consider it
 for a future release when there's a patch with tests to consider.
