 [attachment:"33121.6.diff"] is based on the previous patch with:

 * multiline comment format changed
 * `@since` added to docblocks
 * Modified `test_wildcard_attribute_prefixes` to try variations of `data-`
 prefix to validate

 Following my last comment I could see why you included `data-*` in two
 locations. Let's go with the compromise version.
