 Hi @BogdanStorm, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the report.

 `=` is a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percent-encoding reserved
 character] that has special meaning in a URI in certain contexts, so using
 it in a directory name seems like an edge case.
