 I suggest starting with Twenty Seventeen as a baseline and figuring out
 what is the MVP for Gutenberg support, then backporting it to the other
 themes. Otherwise much time will be spent solving the same problems in
 seven different ways. With a baseline solution in place it will be easier
 to evaluate what custom features need to be added to each individual
 theme.
