 First thing I would suggest to deactivate all the plugins you have
 installed so far. I am not sure if you are really using WordPress 1.5. If
 yes, I don't have much idea how much backward compatibility twentyseveteen
 has with WordPress version.

 However, first you please try to do a fresh WordPress 1.5 version (or
 whatever you are using) and see if you can reproduce the issue with
 twentyseventeen.
