 My mock-up does a few things:

 * Adjusts the pointer arrow so the pointer can be more top-oriented
 * Adjusts the position of the pointer to be closer to the admin menu, to
 avoid the double arrow problem
 * Remove and reduce text to the minimum that it takes to clearly convey
 what's new
