 I love this project!

 However, the tone of the third section is a bit stark and stern sounding.
 Specifically the line:

 "If you follow the instructions we've provided to the letter, upgrading
 shouldn't take more than a few minutes, and is generally very safe to do."
 I would suggest rewording this as:
 "Upgrading shouldn't take more than a few minutes, and is generally very
 safe to do if you carefully follow our provided instructions."
