 @adamsilverstein I did make sure all of this is there. Must be something
 in my setup, maybe I can dive in in a couple days. Did you check whether
 bringing back the actual code change makes all those tests pass? My
 general feeling is, if so, we can commit this. Those tests should catch
 enough of these cases.
