 You are correct @subrataemfluence, there has not been much usage of
 `@throws` historically, it is also not documented in the
 [https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/best-practices/inline-
 documentation-standards/php/ handbook].

 A little more research and some documentation is probably required in
 order before landing this.
